Brad Cogger| Associate Director
Brad is known for his ability to negotiate and manage successful project outcomes for large complex projects such as the $120m Wallace Wurth Redevelopment for the Faculty of Medicine at the University of New South Wales- a project involving over 23 000m² of research laboratories, offices and medical teaching spaces. Notably, he was the Project lead on the Powerhouse Castle Hill project, which was recognised with the Sir Zelman Cowen Award for Public Architecture at the 2024 AIA National Architecture Awards- Australia’s highest honour for Public Architecture.
Brad is interested in establishing a strong initial design concept and maintaining the integrity of that design through the challenges of the approval, documentation and construction phases. He works collaboratively with both the sub consultant team as well as the contractor on site to ensure that the design intent is understood and adhered to by the entire team. Brad has a long-standing interest in materials and their characteristics, and construction detailing.
Brad graduated from the University of Sydney in 2001 and has been with lahznimmo architects for more than 20 years- he was appointed an Associate Director in 2011.
