Jake Kellow Profile

Jake Kellow | Architect

Jake graduated with a Master of Architecture from the University of Newcastle in 2018 and has been professionally engaged in a broad range of projects since, ranging from master planning to high-end residential work. Notable projects, such as the acclaimed Hill House (2023 AIA Newcastle Houses New Commendation) and St Bede’s Catholic College, Chisholm (2020 AIA Newcastle Education Award) showcase his expertise and attention to detail.

Before joining lahznimmo architects, Jake spent two years with ASJP Architecture, honing his skills on high-end residential projects in and around Newcastle. Through this, he gained invaluable insights into crafting spaces that find a seamless balance between elegance and functionality.

Jake's ethos in architecture revolves around people and their experiences within spaces. He firmly believes in the power of creating sensitive and thoughtful environments for living, working, and learning. This philosophy has been a driving force behind his outstanding contributions to various projects.

Beyond his professional commitments, Jake is an active volunteer for the Paul Pholeros Foundation and the Museums of History NSW. Eager to broaden his architectural horizons, Jake was awarded the prestigious Byera Hadley Travelling Scholarship to Central Europe in early 2024. This adventure promises to broaden his understanding of architectural diversity and innovation and provide a trove of creative inspiration for future projects
