lahznimmo represents a refreshing anomaly in architectural practice - combining the experience and capability of a large commercial firm with the personalised service and agility of a smaller studio. With over 30 years of experience, we are continually evolving - building on our knowledge, embracing new ideas and innovations, and fostering generational change and renewal.

We thrive on a diverse portfolio of projects, ranging from small community buildings for local councils to large, complex educational and cultural facilities for government and university clients. Our work is driven by a deep interest in the intersection of landscape, urban design, and architecture.

lahznimmo has been recognised with numerous Australian Institute of Architects awards for design excellence at both State and National levels, across Residential, Commercial, Public Architecture, and Urban Design. Notably, our practice has received the AIA’s National Walter Burley Griffin Award for Urban Design on an unprecedented three occasions, as well as the prestigious Sir Zelman Cowen Award for Public Architecture.

Founders Andrew Nimmo and Annabel Lahz are supported by a new generation of leadership—Directors Brad Cogger and Hugo Cottier, and Associate Patrick Love - alongside a talented team of architects and collaborators.
